Buckwheat is a fruit seed related to rhubarb and sorrel making it an great staple in gluten and wheat free diets. Buckwheat is a really good source of protein, iron and magnesium while being low in fat. Our buckwheat flakes are made in the traditional way by heating the raw grain and then rolling out flat.
How to use them?
Buckwheat flakes can be used in the same way as other cereal flakes – use as an alternative to porridge oats, as a base for muesli or why not bake into cakes and muffins for a nutritious treat.
100% Organic Buckwheat. These Buckwheat Flakes are certified Gluten Free by the Coeliac Society UK. And carry there ‘Cross Grain’ logo. After packing this product in a cleaned environment this product is tested for traces of gluten by a UKAS accredited laboratory before being released for sale.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Packaged in a protective atmosphere.
